ECDL

The European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) – just the thing to help you get ahead.  The ECDL qualification from the British Computer Society (BCS) is recognised internationally by computer users everywhere.  So you can be sure it will help you achieve more in life.  ECDL will show the world you have:

• A good working knowledge of computers
• Skills in a wide range of common software packages
• A recognised and up-to-date qualification
• The self-motivation to learn new skill

The ECDL qualification is made up of seven modules that cover key concepts of computing, its practical applications, and using computers at work and in the home.

You can use learndirect courses to work towards these modules in any order you choose, each module will take around 15 hours to complete and there is no time pressure, you have the freedom to fit your learning around your busy schedule.

At the end of each module there is an online test you can take at our accredited ECDL test centre.  You’ll find the environment here friendly, relaxed and supportive, so you can look forward to really showing how much you know.
