KMBC and Skills for Life Programmes

A celebration day was recently held at KMBC.  Knowsley Community College has delivered Skills of Life in directorates across the council and has embedded delivery within these contexts. K.M.B.C recently achieved the Get On Award in recognition of their excellent work in up skilling the workforce and KCC has worked closely as a partner in the design and delivery of courses. K.M.B.C paid tribute on the day to the college’s efforts and commented how invaluable our support was over the last 12 months. Kevin Sutherland, Paul Bulman and Sheila Ryan delivered Skills for Life sessions within the K.M.B.C and City & Guilds certificates were given out to the proud council workers on this day. Many of the staff involved in these pilots have now gone on to complete NVQ programmes and further Skills for Life courses are planned for the future.
