May 2009

A very enjoyable and informative event recently took place at Expressions Restaurant.  The event was a celebration of partnership working but also enabled the employer response team to disseminate a variety of training information.

Knowsley College work with a number of local and national partners in a variety of vocational areas, including Merseyside Police, Progress Sport, BSkill Ltd, Prospects Internationals and Fusion 21.

The NHS staff successfully completed their ILM Team Leading Certificate Level 2 and First Line Management Certificate/Diploma Level 3 qualifications.
Elizabeth Mercer from Knowsley Health and Wellbeing Workforce said: “Taking this ILM qualification has been a fantastic opportunity for the organisation. It has really boosted the confidence of our aspiring managers and managers and provided them with the skills to become more effective in their jobs, which is particularly important in these difficult times when good leadership is vital.  The ILM qualifications were delivered by Knowsley Community College.
