A group of 12 employees successfully completed the four day course in December of 2008 as part of MJ Quinn’s commitment to ensuring staff in supervisory positions were equipped with an up to date health & safety qualification.

Eddie who is himself a Chartered member of IOSH and has extensive knowledge of Health & Safety practice, accompanied his colleagues on the course and was delighted with the outcome, “The delivery and content was pitched at just the right level and everyone who attended agreed it provided them with the knowledge to successfully manage health & safety issues within their teams”.  Having successfully trialled the IOSH programme here in Kirkby, MJ Quinn are planning to roll out the qualification at it’s London operation ensuring across the board standardisation in Health & safety awareness.

Partnership Board
The next board meeting will be held at our Kirkby campus on 21st of May, commencing at 1pm.  Agenda items will include employer evaluation and employer involvement in apprenticeship training.
