Ground Breaking Partnership with St John Ambulance

In this year of the Capital of Culture and following on from being awarded “Freedom of the City”, St John Ambulance (Merseyside) once again demonstrated their commitment and dedication to serving the community.

On Monday 15th September 2008 at the Marriot Hotel, Queens Square, Liverpool St John Ambulance (Merseyside) awarded Certificates to two groups of successful candidates.

In a ground breaking partnership with Knowsley Community College, 31 trainers in St John Ambulance have successfully completed the PTLLS course, via City and Guilds 7303.  In order to improve already existing high standards and offer a quality service for our clients, St John Ambulance (Merseyside) has embraced the Governments' changes in Adult Education Teacher Training qualifications.  As a first in the country a successful partnership has been forged with Knowsley Community College to improve trainers teaching skills and abilities

For more information regarding teacher training courses, please contact Elaine Jones or Sue Rhodes.
